Week 11 on the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP): What to eat to support your autoimmune disease! {What I ate}

The Autoimmune Protocol: What I Ate Series was created to share how I'm getting through 11 straight weeks now of eating only AIP. When I started researching anti-inflammatory diets, I really wanted to see what people were eating on daily basis. I wanted to know how they were managing it day in and day out. I found very few people talking about how they were putting meals together, so I decided I'd share what I was doing in the hopes that if you are looking to see how to make it work, you have somewhere to go.

pumpkin muffins, spaghetti squash and meatballs, fried rice, and creamy shrimp

Before diving into this 11th week. I thought I'd do a recap of where I'm at physically. This time of year is when I generally have my most severe flair ups. I have pain that radiates from my neck to my fingers on the right side, my tongue gets prickly feeling, sometimes both elbows and wrists hurt, and occasionally my hips hurt, so that it is hard to walk. Being on AIP for 10 weeks, I'm seeing some improvement, but I'm thinking something I'm eating is still causing some issues. I've been treating SIBO in addition to the AIP diet and the natural treatment I'm using has black walnut in it. I'm almost through taking it and wonder how things will go afterwards. This year on AIP I'm finding, that while the lymph node is still a little swollen and my hair is falling out in clumps, which it hasn't done in years. But I'm way better than usual and I'm thankful for the improvement. I'll be interested to see how my body responds when I'm not taking the black walnut. And after that recap on to what I ate!
