Poppa made these great A-Frame Pup Tents inspired by Lindsay and Drew.
Lindsay made some really fun glow-in-the-dark lanterns too, that we can't wait to try out for a camping craft this summer! Thanks guys!
Materials:
- four 4' pieces of 1/2' X 2 1/2" boards
- two 4 1/2' pieces of 1/2' X 2 1/2" boards
- one 5' piece of 3/4" pvc pipe
- 2 pvc caps
- 8 wood screws and drill
- staples and staple gun
- pvc cement
- 1 flat twin sheet (we used old ones that we've retired)
Instructions:
1) Drill about 1" holes about 2'' from one end of the 4' boards.
2) Attach one 4' boards to each side of the 4 1/2' boards, so 2 4' attached to one 4 1/2' board.
3) Slide the pvc pipe into the holes by crossing two of the 4' boards and cap off. Secure the cap with pvc cement.
4) Wrap the sheet over the pvc pipe and staple the twin sheet to the bottom of each 4 1/2' board.

They are designed for easy storage. Simply fold them and hide them away.
They make great tents for overnight sleepovers, reading, and playing in! You can even take them outside on a sunny day for some shade!

So fun! We should do this.
The kids love them. When we had friends over a couple of weeks ago, they had so much fun playing with them together.
