Preschool and Kindergarten Mathematics: Memorization

Memorization is soooo important in math. We spend lots of time memorizing things like:

1. Counting to 100.
2. Skip counting by 5's and 10's.
3. Double addition amounts.
4. Counting backwards.

We try to learn these through songs, poems, and hand motions, so it is creative and fun. 

We work on memorizing things lots of different times: while washing hands, riding in the car, taking baths, getting ready for dinner, waiting for appointments, whenever we can...
