Make your own Roses [From Leaves]

We live atop a very windy hill. Very few of our trees have any leaves left and I still wanted to do this project that I had found on pinterest. We were out and about yesterday and noticed there were still some leaves on a few trees and then I spotted some beautiful yellow leaves from a maple that was next to a walking path we've visited frequency. So we took a detour and gathered up a large amount of them.



When we got them home we started, turning leaves into roses...

They only stay soft for one day (I wonder if you can use leaves that you've dipped in wax), but they are truly lovely!

Then dried...



We wrapped green tissue paper around them. Still lovely. :)
