Autumn Leaf Wreath

We found the directions from this wreath in an old magazine article (although it was torn out and I'm not sure where, maybe an old issue of All You). It is super easy and with everyone helping doesn't take long at all.

Using a dinner plate and heavy paper, cut out a large circle and then use a bowl to cut out a circle in the middle to form your wreath. Using a glue gun, glue on a ribbon.

Then we gathered all of our fall colored scraps from my scrapbooking stash.

I made a leaf template for everyone and we traced out leaves. Afterwards we cut them out. There were about 90 leaves in all.

Next was folding them down the middle. Then we glued the leaves onto the base of the wreath. We put the first row on with a mountain fold up and the other layers went on with a valley fold up. Each of the leaves we angled slightly.

Then it was time to find a place to hang our wreath.

Wishing you homeschool blessings,
