Snowy Day Chalk Pastels

This term we're working with chalk pastels. It is one of my favorite mediums. It is very forgiving and it is so easy to blend colors for different effects.


It is definitely winter around here. We have cold temperatures and snow everywhere. It's just perfect for pastels.

    We usually draw together in steps. Each picture is different, but it gives each of them a chance to work on different lines and shapes together.
