Animal Study: Horse

Ceesa read up on horses.

Here's what she wrote...

Horses eat apples in slices, hay, grass, oats, carrots, and other grains. Sugar is not good for thorses.

The hrose has  a toe and a heel. It walks on the toe. A farrier puts horse shoes on the foot of the horse. The open part is on the back by the heel. The closed part is by the toe, because they walk on it.

When a horse bucks it could be playful or it could want to get rid of a rider. When it rears, it could be in playfulness, excitement, or showing power.

A horse likes routine.

She pointed out that she didn't want the details all mixed up on the page. She wanted everything about food to be in the same place. She is transforming her writing. It is great to watch.

Wishing you homeschool blessings,

isn't it neat to watch progression in learning? :)

I agree. Especially when the child does the learning without being told.
