Animal Study from Among the Farmyard People

We just read Among the Farmyard People by Clara Dillingham Pierson. We spread it out over several weeks.

After each of the stories that we read, Jo-Jo would illustrate the chapter with a drawing of the animal that the chapter was about. She used beeswax crayons (Faber-Castell Beeswax Crayons) and pencils (LYRA Triangular Giant Colored Pencils).

We made it into a book. She worked hard on it and it turned out beautifully.
