This one is a great project. We wired a burglar alarm. First with a buzzer and then with a light.

Cool hands-on electricity project!
It was a fairly easy one compared to some of the robots we' ve been working on!
A burglar alarm? It sounds difficult to produce one on your own, but seeing how you did it, I think otherwise. This is a cool project, and timely since no one these days is excused from intruders. Maybe next time you can make a bigger one that can be used in your own home to protect all of you from unwanted visitors. Enjoy!

Ha! Now that sounds like a difficult project! :)
Certainly, a great project it is! Useful for the home and for raising precautions. Some kids have seen burglar alarm, even know what it's for, but do they really give much importance to it? Firsthand experience in wiring one makes them see it in a different and more sober light. Pauletta@Protech Security Systems
The kids really wanted to figure out how to catch Poppa with it.
