We believe in a “whole”istic approach to learning (which is generally free and low cost). So what does that mean to us for foreign languages? Well...it is like this...
~Play games like go fish, old maid, matching, and others with high frequency words.
~Label things around the house.
~Locate bilingual children's books from the library.
~Utilize the children’s music section for foreign language cds.
~Watch a channel with foreign language.
~Visit a local, authentic restaurant.

Wishing you homeschool blessings,

This is great advise.
Great tips! We have also found some great free apps that help teach French, which is the language I studied and am passing on to my kids! :)
Thanks for the suggestion! That's a wonderful idea!
Thanks Lady!
