Purim: How to make your own Groggers

 This year,
we celebrated Purim.

It was the first time.
We read the story of Esther.
Every time we heard
Haman's name,
we shook our groggers and booed.

Groggers are fairly simple to make.
You need some kind of stick
(dowel rod, pencil, an actual stick,
popsicle stick...you get the idea)

and

a decorated
(duct tape, sequins, beads, glitter, paint, etc.)
closed container
(toilet paper roll, box, small milk carton,
re-used gift box, upcycled anything)

and

the materials
(beads, small pasta, dry beans,
dry popcorn, rice, etc.)
to fill the container with to shake.

Have you made groggers
(homemade musical instruments,
noise makers)?
We'd love to see your links!

Wishing you homeschool blessings,
