Crochet for Kids

Crochet is a very relaxing handicraft.

Kids find it rather enjoyable.

We start by teaching

how to chain

at about 5 years old.

You can make lots of great

projects with the simple chain

and some beads or charms:

bookmarks, necklaces, bracelets.

At about 8, you can teach

the single crochet.

Ceesa's first attempt. It grew smaller until it made the point.

The single crochet

makes scarves, washcloths,

small doll blankets,

baby doll blankets,

and even baby blankets.
