We took 2 weeks off of school work...
sort of.
Here's what we did...
Played Mancala
Made a snowman
Made a pop can robot
Played Quoridor
Did building kits
Played with Poppa's farm animals
Did snap circuits
Played with the babies
Read new and old favorites
Colored with rock crayons and block crayons
Did experiments
Wishing you homeschool blessings,
Was Quoridor fun? Did they like playing it?
ReplyDeleteThey do like it. You can play it with 2 or 4 people. We've only played with 2 so far, but I think 4 might be more fun.
DeleteI love the learning that happens when the children don't even know that they're learning :) (Quoridor does look like fun!)
ReplyDeleteIt's great. Things I'd never even think to teach if I could teach everything.
DeleteLooks like a perfect break to me. We love Mancala and will have to check out Quoridor. Mine got obsessed with Phase 10 ;)
ReplyDeleteI haven't taught my little guys phase 10. I wonder if they could do it too?
DeleteLooks like a great vacation break! We have a similar game to your Mancala at home. I thought it was a filipino and african game.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how to play that game.
DeleteWhat a great break! Thanks for dropping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteIt was one of the best breaks that I can remember.
