Christmas holds many traditions
in our family.
Oddly enough, they are not the same traditions
Poppa and I had growing up,
but instead ones of our own making.
Every year, since we married,
I make a new ornament for our tree.
When the children came along,
I continued making one for Poppa and I,
but added another for each child.
The ornament for this year
is a quilted heart.
Some of the others over the years...
Baskets with homespun and buttons
Wooden stars dipped in glitter
Stockings with homespun and buttons
(courtesy of little feet, grown big)
Tin punched plate
Angels from crepe paper
Glitter pine cones
Craft paper and batting sewn stars
What are your family traditions?
Wishing you homeschool blessings,

I love that little baby sock ornament!
Thanks! They were odd ones, missing the mates. I guess the match was sucked into the sock black hole! I tea stained them and then we hot glued the homespun and buttons on.
