I love all of the pictures!! Can you tell us more about dry brush technique?
I love that you create and share your art along with your children's :)
Dry Brush can be used with any type of paints. We use tempra. We generally do two things.
One, we put very little paint on the brush. This we accomplish by dipping the brushes in the paint and then sweeping off a good portion if it on the side of the tins we use as a pallet.
Two, the paint dries quickly and this allows us to work in layers so you can get a more textured look.
I have seen much more complicated dry brush used, but this method has served our purpose for now.
That is one of my most favorite things about homeschooling...learning, creating, exploring, discovering...together.
