We found a great experiment.
To do the experiment,
you need:
3 jars or glasses,
food coloring,
water,
and
2 paper towels.
Put water into 2 of the jars at the same height.
Then about half of that amount in the last jar.
Leave the jar with half the amount without any food coloring.
Put 2 separate colors in the other two glasses. Primary only.
Role the paper towels and put one end into each color and
the other end into the glass with less water and no dye.
The water will follow the paper towels into the glass.
The clear glass will change to the color that the
two primary colors would mix as and all the glasses will
be about equal in height by the end of the experiment.
We started our project in the evening
and let it stand overnight.
Wishing you homeschool blessings,
Bethany

Ha! I remember doing this one when I was little!
The kiddos were really excited to try it out!
