Sometimes you start one project
that gets much bigger than you had anticipated.
That is what happened with the jellyfish.
First, we made our jellyfish, from 2 paper plates.
We painted one of them pink to match the bottom sides and punched two holes in the top.
We traced a quarter (2 times) on white
and a dime (2 times) on black.
We strung fishing line through the two holes.
And on our separate plate we attached lots
of different kinds of streamers, crete paper, and ribbon.
When everything was dry,
we put the two plates together
and added the eyes.
Then the little jelly guys were done,
so we hung them from the ceiling...
but they must have been lonely
because other sea life kept appearing...
then the water arrived and...
before you knew it,
there was an entire ocean.
Wishing you homeschool blessings,
Bethany

When we did this, we stuck glow in the dark stickers on it, to creat extra depth. It was so much fun to watch them whoop and chatter their jellyfish into life, lol!
