Last week,
we made pressed flower
pendents.
First, we gathered flowers to press.
We pressed them for several days.
The roses turned out the nicest.
The zinnias were so fat that they didn't press well.
Then using a coffee mug,
we made circles on contact paper
and cut them out.
After peeling off the backing,
we put our pressed flowers in the middle
and laid the second layer on top.
Little Man kept said, "Pillar, Momma. It's a Pillar."
"These are flowers Buddy."
Then again, "Pillar, Mommy."
So I looked, and lo and behold, it was a caterpillar.
Smart little boy. :)
When we were finished putting our flowers in the contact paper, we hung them from the window.
Wishing you homeschool blessings,
Bethany
