Sweet (as in too cute) Sewing Project: Handbags

Can I tell you just how much I love my girls' sewing class?

First, they made these adorable ornaments.

Then they made these bags.

See the clear plastic pockets with confetti--just too cute.

They are doubled lined and have a sweet tulle and bead handle.

The entire project from picking the fabric out to giving them away took about 2 and a 1/2 hours.

Yes, I did say giving them away.

Their best friends got them for a just because I love you gift.

All Momma got were these quick pictures of their first official sewing project. :)

Ah well...

They are also giving a goat and warm winter clothes

to Jesus and needy families around the world.
