We were outside for nature study
when I heard,
"Momma! Come look! Babies!"
Oh, my. My mind turns. What could it be?
She was standing in front of the shed.
Snakes?
I think I can handle snakes. Gulp. Maybe.
Skunks?
Oh, man. There were skunks by our driveway for a couple of weeks.
Wait, it's November.
I turned the corner and....
Kitties. There were actually three.
Two tigers and one black one.
That was a nice surprise.

ReplyDeleteNow, we seem to have adopted a rag of a dog that has been named cookie dough. Or rather it has adopted us. :)
