Nature Study

We love nature study and with the help of the Handbook of Nature Study and Barb from handbookofnaturestudy.blogspot.com, we have really got off to a great start this school year.

We generally take our notebook with us, sometimes our camera, and every once in a while we pull out our nature bag.

We have lots of stuff inside it...

Binoculars, magnifying glasses, butterfly nets, storage containers, field guides, hand wipes, plastic bags, paper towels, note cards, colored pencils, pencils, plastic tweezers, band-aids, meat tenderizer (for bee stings), and anything else we can cram in it.
